Terry our project manager and myself went to a home around the daybreak area last week. It was a very nice home. The man that lived there was an older gentleman who has lived in the home for a very long time. Like 20 years I think he said. This gentleman described a couple of floods that he had had over the years that he said he dried up himself. These two were only two that he NOTICED. that’s the key word. from the looks of the room there were many more. Any how the two he cleaned up were the noticeable ones and he probably just used a vacuum and pulled some water from the carpet. Totally oblivious of the pad underneath acting like a sponge holding the bulk of the water. So we could see instantly the mold coming through the front of the base board. Mold was growing on the underside of the furniture. And this man was so sure he had dried up all the water from the floods before. Now every one can see why we prefer to remove the pad. thought I had more pictures of the other affected areas. Sorry.
