If you don’t take care of leaks and materials stay wet long enough you will have mold. In this instance it was a small condo, and they had a roof leak that went on for a few months actually and sure enough they had mold. When we opened up to ceiling actually there was more mold and it went further than what we originally thought. The lesson is, don’t ignore dampness or leaks. Get it fixed and dry it out as quickly as possible to avoid mold.
